My jewellery journey started many years ago with beadwork as a way of managing stress. After studying silver jewellery my practice has continued to evolve through a love of learning new techniques. My work now incorporates silver and gold alongside semi-precious stones using a variety of techniques including silver clay; casting; traditional silver-smithing; etching; wirework and beadwork. Following on from my 2020 collection of Chunky cast rings,

I have experimented with statement stone set rings in silver clay (fine silver) and Keum Boo (a Korean technique overlaying 22ct gold foil on to silver). I created a bluebell and botanical collection for Riverhill Himalayan Gardens and am working on a collection incorporating UV resin with silver.

I still have a passion for creating individual jewellery items and my influences are texture and colour with particular emphasis on nature and natural stones. I can create items to order, I undertake repairs and love to teach.
