About Catford Arts
The Catford Arts trail has become a highly anticipated event in the Catford Calendar with over 100 artists opening the doors to their houses and showing their work to the public over an Autumn weekend. The first Catford Arts trail was in 2016 and organised by 5 volunteers.
We saw amazingly varied talent in Catford and terrific support from both our community and visitors from further afield. We have since grown to a larger team of 10 and have all kinds of exciting plans!
THE CATFORD ARTS TRAIL 2025 will take place over the weekend of October 11th &12th in public and private venues in SE6.
This will be our 10th anniversary

The First Catford Arts Trail 2016
This was the first ever Arts Trail in Catford organised by five local artists. It took place over two weekends in Sep/Oct 2016 with 75 local artists and makers showing and selling works in their homes, studios and public spaces and included 30 venues in SE6.
Feedback from the 2016 Trail was overwhelmingly positive registering 9,170 visits to venues over the two weekends with an average of 83 visitors per day per venue.
So many visitor comments highlighted not only the variety and excellent standard of the art on display but also the generous and friendly welcome they received being invited into people’s homes and businesses.
We also had repeated comments on the positive feeling of togetherness and community generated by the Trail both between the artists and hosts taking part and the visitors themselves. The Trail brought together participants and visitors of all ages and backgrounds and put art in Catford on the map.
