I am a painter, focusing on colour manipulation. I spend a lot of time outdoors and am continuously inspired by the complexity and beauty of nature, in particular trees. I use acrylic and oil paints in my works, generally painting series of works from landscapes of places that I’ve visited, plants and flowers found in local parks to portraits of ‘Great Losses’ (famous people that are no longer with us).

I also dabble in printing and photography and when I need to walk away from a painting I may create dry monoprints of local stations and landmarks or more recently you are likely to find me looking up at trees to take photos that I l then digitally manipulate and create interesting compositions.
