Tartan Zebra
I am a Kenyan born artist living in London.
My art is inspired by my surroundings and the various places that I have lived, especially the natural environment of my childhood home in Kenya and the urban environment of my current home in south London.
I love the sculptural nature of papercutting, each cut must be deliberate in whittling down layers of paper to the final image. In many ways the forms restrictions and the way they challenge me to adapt is what I find most satisfying about working with paper.
