My art is mostly about being a woman and through body parts I comment on
fragility, death and love.
I like people watching and fashion find a space in my work too.
My aesthetics has been shaped by Modigliani, Matisse, Giacometti and
African Arts. I found inspiration visiting museums where I like seeing
remains of older civilisations. I am always touched to see ceramic pieces
dating back from the beginning of humanity. This is why I have a preference
for clay over all material because it is so closed to our human history.
