Deborah is a textile designer specialising in stitch.
With a keen observational eye and an enduring love of colour, pattern and texture, Deborah combines use of digital and specialist embroidery machinery to create innovative fabrics.
She has produced fabric ideas for luxury fashion and lifestyle brands including Calvin Klein, Erdem, Proenza Schouler, Louis Vuitton, Topshop Unique and Anthropologie.
Collaborations include illustrations for Marmalade, Blueprint and Tank magazines, interactive window displays for Selfridges and stitched large scale illustrations for a Levis ad campaign, exhibited in Urban Outfitters and Collette, Paris.
Alongside her freelance design work she is now focused on developing bespoke, hybrid textile adornments, combined with her continuing role at the Royal College of Art as a specialist technical instructor in Mixed Media Textiles.
