Jenny Sharp has been working with glass for many years. She studied glass at the City Lit and later completed her City and Guilds Certificate and Diploma, subsequently followed by two years at Central Saint Martins.
Jenny has moved to a new studio in the thriving community run by Arthub, adjacent to the Thames Barrier. It is here she carries out domestic commissions, meeting with clients to finalise design, colour and textural details for their projects. She also runs stained glass classes for beginners in a relaxed, friendly, and fun way.
Inspiration for her contemporary work comes from natural sources, particularly landscape and flora. Jenny regularly sells at Greenwich Market. She is part of an alumni group which exhibit together. She is continuing to develop her new works using textiles and Bullseye Reactive glass vessels.
